Talciap

Description: Talciap is the main part of a geophysical acquisition system able to collect data from many different transducers, here we present the whole system, composed by some hardware and software and one of its applications to a commercially available echo-sounder transducer.

 

The system is depicted in figure 1, it is composed by a digital oscilloscope (a Picoscope), an echo-sounder trasducer, a low-power intel Atom PC with Linux operating system and the Talciap software.

Optionally Daphne can be used to send geographycal coordinates to Talciap for data georeferencing.
